Many novelties are coming up to be discovered at the Milan GreenVillage23. A large area, inside the racecourse, extending from the monumental fountain to the historical grandstands, will be devoted to entertainment, culture, food, and activities for families and children. A series of completely free-of-charge initiatives will be organized every day, from 10.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. (the expo and edutainment activities will close at 6.30 p.m.) for the large number of visitors during the European Jumping Championship. A program full of captivating events, staged with a carefully designed layout, will provide unforgettable entertainment opportunities related to sports, wellness and environmental sustainability.
One of the most exciting thematic areas will be the Junior Green Camp, where younger people can learn about and venture into different sports disciplines. Educational and creative workshops will be organised to give them the chance to experiment and discover new skills through edutainment activities with a special focus on sustainability and recycling but also on environmental and social issues.
Another highly successful initiative for children and young people will undoubtedly the Baptism of the Saddle, i.e., the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding a pony or a horse, even for the first time, and begin to become familiar with these wonderful creatures.
The Food Court, with its special food and wine delights and Lombard and Italian delicacies, is ready to please any palate. It will feature several food trucks offering a wide range of selected products, 100% Made in Italy. At sunset, when the competition is over, the Snai San Siro Racecourse will put on its best evening dress to offer the audience and the city of Milan plenty of fun, surely with entertainment and outdoor music, but also with two DJ sets curated by Radio Italia Wednesday and Saturday nights.
