Ippodromo Snai San Siro
The ITALIA. OPEN TO MERAVIGLIA – FEI JUMPING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP MILANO 2023 will take place at the Snai San Siro racecourse, a historic facility built in 1920 by architect Paolo Vietti in Art Nouveau style. It spreads across 1,600,000 square metres and it is the only equestrian facility proclaimed monument of national interest and one of the most prestigious equestrian venues in the world. A striking location that hosts not only sports but also public events. In 2021, a major upgrading project was launched to turn this facility into a truly modern equestrian sports stadium. In addition to the new steeplechase and cross-country tracks, the project features a new harness racing facility, with two tracks and a roundabout, a track for all-weather flat races and an area devoted to international equestrian competitions, with a grass field flanked by a trial field that was inaugurated for the 2021 Milano San Siro Jumping Cup.
